▲unset of Folonica,
city on the beach one hour away from Florence |
The Tuscan region is known for Florence
- it's fame only second to Rome - as wells
as cites such as Pisa and Siena. All these
cities are a living proof of the history and
culture, placed in a capsule, from the
Medieval Age.
It's history boasts such great artists such as
Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo. Great poets
such as Dante Alighieri and Francesco Petrarca. |
Going far back to the Etruscan Age and blooming
during the enaissance, it has always contributed to the world's
culture in projecting it
forward.
The typical scenery, on the otherhand is pastoral with moderate hills after hills
with farm houses spotting here and there. Many of you may recall with nostalgia
these scenery from childhood in picture books and TV.
Tuscany is also famous for it's wines such as Chianti, olive oil and it's
gastronomy. |
